How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Zodiac ACK!

Thinking of scrapping the current metal ox and redoing it. Yeah, totally going to. There's too much anatomy fail, I know I can do better. I do like the head, but the rest of it... nope.

I should just do a list of issues I have with all of them. RIGHT NOW. For posterity.

The boar is fine.

The cat is fine.

The rat needs to lose the butt swirl, the rabbit needs a pointy tail to go with his chest hair/pointed look. Also pointed ears.

Dog is fine.

Dragon is fine.

Ox needs complete overhaul.

Sheep needs some work on the feet and a tweak with the posture.

Snake needs better back patterns. Either better drawn or better period.

Monkey's design is fine, needs a thinker brow line. Posture in picture is kinda weird and there's some leg anatomy fail. He's supposed to be leaping backwards and swiping but I don't think it worked.

Rooster is fine design wise, but I botched the ink job so bad.

Tiger... needs something. Better profile for sure, rework on stripes. Anatomy could be better too.

Horse needs to be done period. Horses scare me.

Anything else?

Looks like a lot more to tweak or redo rather than "fine". What is the Zodiac Attack being made for, if anything specific? Or just because? I don't remember if you mentioned anything on that.

Oh, video game concepts are neat, but so are personal projects. Hoping it's worth it either way for you. I like a lot of them, especially the rat, even if you say it needs a tweak or two. And I understand the horse thing since you've talked about it before. Though I believe you'll come up with something good once you get to it. I beliiiiiieve in you!
