Art of Transformation Heads

Some new characters of mine for a new story I’ve been toying with. 

Tanpopo and Kiku hail from Osaka and Kyoto. They run a flower themed fashion boutique together in Kyoto where they live as humans. They end up vacationing together in Washington State one summer, arriving by boat in Seattle where they meet a young raccoon, (who has no name when they meet, but picks one later). He ends up traveling around with them, trying to learn their transformation techniques. 

They end up staying in a hotel run by Bob and several members of his extended cat family. They are alright at the art of transformation, but get bored or distracted frequently and often stand in for each other as different hotel staff characters that they’ve made up.

Tanpopo and Kiku and Root make their way to the Cascade mountains where they meet an old friend who long ago moved from Japan -- the wolf Oka and her “pet” raven Four. She lives as a male human painter in a secluded cabin near a quiet town, and even though she lives far out from most people she almost never appears in her wolf form. Four can transform, but rarely does, as he prefers to stay as a bird and perch on Oka’s shoulder.
